Convinced that AI must be placed at the service of the public interest, we are working to promote better understanding, dissemination and adoption of tomorrow's technologies, placing responsibility and sustainability at the heart of our mission.

Faced with these challenges, the Sahar Foundation is committed to informing and raising awareness among decision-makers, businesses and civil society. Our goal is to promote the emergence of knowledge and encourage virtuous practices for a more transparent, reliable and sustainable use of AI.
The Sahar Foundation at the service of the energy saving
The Sahar Foundation aims to be a driving force in the development of evaluation methods and concrete strategies to optimise the energy efficiency of digital infrastructures and limit their carbon footprint.
The Sahar Foundation actively contributes to ensuring that ethical issues are taken into account in the design and deployment of artificial intelligence systems. To this end, we produce and disseminate studies, white papers and strategic analyses, and lead working groups, conferences and seminars that bring together industry experts.

Participation at the Summit for Action on Artificial Intelligence
On the occasion of the Summit for Action on Artificial Intelligence in Paris, the Sahar Foundation is proud to have had its round table on “AI ethics applied to cyber defense” recognized as part of this major event.
This round table is an opportunity to discover the theoretical and operational approaches to AI applied to cyber defense, and to exchange views with opinion leaders on the future of ethical and responsible AI.
To this end, institutional, industrial and academic experts will share their views and experiences on deadlines and solutions in the world of cyber defense.
The Sahar Foundation is supporting the Fondation de l'École nationale des Chartes - PSL in the form of a skills sponsorship. It is working on a project, in partnership with and for the benefit of a Parisian museum, which aims to integrate artificial intelligence, and in particular computer vision, to reference data and provide descriptions of collections. The idea behind the project is to demonstrate the added value of artificial intelligence for data processing by in-house scientific staff.
